Standardise building data
BAScloud standardises incoming data regardless of its original source: measured variables, designations and structures are brought to a uniform standard so that data from different systems is in the same format from the outset.
Every new data source is thus automatically transferred into the same structure, instead of requiring separate logic for each application.
Comparability
Normalise and harmonise data
Different systems often record similar values differently – for example with different reference values, time intervals or naming. BAScloud normalises and harmonises these values so that they become comparable in substance rather than merely sitting side by side technically.
History
Store time series centrally
Every measured value is stored with its timestamp in a central time series history. This creates a continuous, gap-free history for each data point – the basis for trends, comparisons over time and retrospective analyses.
Values added or corrected later also remain correctly placed in time and traceable.
Portfolio
Make data from different sites comparable
Only uniform processing makes buildings, sites and entire portfolios truly comparable. BAScloud ensures that KPIs are calculated according to the same rules, regardless of the site, the system used or the original data source.
This makes it possible for the first time to compare buildings from different regions, construction years or system landscapes directly.
Units
Unify units and formats
Whether kilowatt hours or megajoules, degrees Celsius or Kelvin: BAScloud unifies units and data formats automatically, so manual conversions are no longer necessary and analyses remain directly comparable.
Traceability
Trace data sources and origin
Every processing step remains traceable: BAScloud documents which source a data point comes from and which processing steps it has gone through. This keeps it clear how each KPI was derived – an important prerequisite for reviews, audits and regulatory evidence.
