Uniform data provision
All quality-assured data is available via a uniform provision layer – regardless of how many or which systems access it. New target systems therefore receive the same approved data status from the outset as all applications already connected.

BAScloud provides data via standardised APIs and data services. Target systems use them to access exactly the data they need in a structured way – in real time or as historical time series.

Whether a BAScloud module or external software: target systems are connected to the provision layer once and then continuously receive up-to-date, quality-assured data – without the underlying building integration having to be repeated.

Data subscriptions and automated transfer
Instead of retrieving data manually, data subscriptions can be set up: target systems are supplied with new data automatically at defined intervals or based on events.

Roles and access rights
Who may access which data is controlled via a differentiated role and permission concept – down to the level of individual buildings, data types or time periods. This preserves data sovereignty even with many connected systems and users.

Data export and portability
Data can be exported in a structured format at any time – for example for individual analyses, external archiving or switching to another target system. Data sovereignty also means not being permanently tied to a single application.
