Unlike most other providers, we follow a structured 4-phase approach that ensures your systems are not just optimised superficially, but analysed thoroughly and set up sustainably:
The platform
Phase 1: Baseline assessment (current state)
We analyse the current state of your property, define targets and framework conditions and record the existing system inventory in order to create a solid, already optimally configured basis for optimisation. It is very important to understand that incorrect basic settings of your systems are not simply overridden – otherwise a great deal of potential is lost.
Phase 2: Technical optimisation plan and KPI definition
Based on the baseline, we develop a technical optimisation plan and define the key performance indicators (KPIs) for your property that provide you with all the data you need and against which the success of the measures can be assessed objectively.
Phase 3: Financing concept and funding measures
We draw up a tailored financing concept and identify suitable funding programmes to make implementation as cost-efficient as possible for you.
Phase 4: Implementation and ongoing monitoring
In the final phase, we install and implement BAScloud, continuously capture the data of your optimally configured systems and gradually automate processes. We also advise you on optimising your energy management and carry out ongoing monitoring of the processes.

GreenMetrics Solutions focuses on sustainable optimisation of your systems – not on simply overriding the controls. We review the existing systems first before automating and digitalising. If BAScloud were ever removed, the settings would be retained and your system would continue to run more efficiently than before. With many other providers, by contrast, the system would revert to its old, inefficient state.
Using a benchmark of your property’s previous energy consumption, we can determine whether there is savings potential. This can depend on various factors – such as the age and condition of the systems, user behaviour and the current settings of the building services systems. Experience shows that our measures can achieve energy savings in the double-digit percentage range. You receive an initial assessment based on the baseline data as early as Phase 1.
Thanks to our structured 4-phase model, initial optimisations can take effect just a few weeks after the start of the project. The duration depends on factors such as the size of your property, the system inventory and any structural measures. No, usually not. One of the advantages of GreenMetrics Solutions is that we work with what is already in place. We analyse your existing systems and integrate them intelligently via BAScloud. Only in rare cases do we recommend replacement, e.g. if systems are outdated or inefficient and stand in the way of the optimisation goals.
Yes, BAScloud is deliberately designed to be open and vendor-neutral. It can be integrated into many existing systems – whether classic building automation, modern IoT platforms or specialised solutions. This creates a central data hub without media disruptions.
