BAScloud Connector BCC E32L – Release in October 2021
Completely new ways by radio
The picture above already gives an idea of what the new BAScloud Connector BCC E32L (v1) will look like in the top-hat rail version. The system will have at least 6 S0 inputs (binary) and a direct M-Bus Master Connector and can be placed directly on the DIN rail on site. The designation “L” also reveals that the BCC E32L will be equipped with LoRaWAN functions. So he is the first of our new BCC Funk family. The transparent version also has an integrated display on the front that can show information about the current status and the connection to the BAScloud. With this, we are fulfilling a long-held wish of MSR installers who would like to be able to see the most important things at a glance without having to look at the app interface.
Cost-effective and flexible
The BCC E32L is primarily suitable for transmitting meter data from a local M-Bus or for direct sampling of meter pulses from existing meters. Its connection to the BAScloud is simple and secure via radio to a BAScloud LGW gateway in the property or nearby. The intelligent network technology enables a very cost-effective and stable setup of meter reading infrastructure even in existing installations.
Intelligent
Like all BAScloud components, the BCC E32L (v1) is configured and parameterised via the BAScloud interface. In future, firmware updates will also be made available in this way, so that on-site deployment can be avoided in most cases.
What is coming soon?
As always, we are not revealing anything specific yet. But a blurred look at our laboratory set-ups already gives an idea of the topic a new member of the BCC family will be devoting himself to in the near future.
