BAScloud in focus: ProFM is gold partner of APIIDA CONNECT ’19
Groß-Bieberau, 20. März 2019. ProFM Facility & Project Management GmbH will provide an insight into the BAScloud at APIIDA CONNECT `19 on 27.06.2019 at the darmstadtium in Darmstadt. The event initiated by APIIDA AG with the motto “build the digital future” will bring together experts and decision-makers from different industries. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors are invited to listen to expert presentations and network in a pleasant atmosphere. After a joint start, the participants can expect three thematic blocks in which they can deepen their knowledge and receive new suggestions:
- Build: The focus is on the intelligent networking of building automation systems (BAS) and service providers.
- Secure: Authentication and Identity Management – harnessing the benefits of cloud and mobile while protecting the most important data in the connected, open enterprise.
- Connect: API Management – What framework conditions are needed so that networked systems can safely and securely make their contribution to a scalable, digital enterprise?
The first thematic block “build” will focus on the digitalisation and networking of buildings. The BAScloud is one of the central topics here.
“We are very much looking forward to presenting the BAScloud at APIIDA CONNECT,” explains Claus Mink, Managing Director of ProFM. “For years, we have seen an increasing demand for a simple, cost-effective solution for central and cross-site data storage and integration with services, for example in the field of energy management. We can offer this with the BAScloud.
With BAScloud, it is possible to create a digital image of buildings in the private cloud based on existing data. In this way, properties can be connected to other services, such as energy monitoring, simply and easily with one click.
The networking of building systems with services commonly available on the market alone offers considerable potential for optimisation at various levels, such as an ideal design of the energy balance. Whereas BMS operators previously had to go to great lengths to connect their building management system to the corresponding services via an interface that had to be individually programmed, they can now rely on systems such as BAScloud. In addition to the operators, manufacturers and installers also benefit to a particular extent from the modern technology. Instead of the manual or time-consuming opening of previously isolated systems, the BAScloud creates the perfect basis for driving forward automation and standardisation, thus enabling significant financial savings opportunities.
The event format of APIIDA CONNECT `19 is aimed at a broad target group. In the “Build” track, primarily property owners, BMS manufacturers, service providers, BMS operators and BMS planners are expected.
