“Digital Cities, Digital Regions”: Creating energy optimisation of urban properties with the BAScloud
Groß-Bieberau, 01.10.2019. With the title “Digital Cities, Digital Regions”, a conference took place on 18.09. a forward-looking congress for cities and municipalities in Hesse will be held at the Congress Park Hanau. A varied programme awaited the participants. In addition to the core topics of “Strategic digitisation – what is the best way to proceed?” and “Promoting the digitisation of Hessian municipalities”, the organisers set the following priorities:
- Mobility & Life
- Energy & Environment
- Health & Social
- Tourism & Leisure.
Workshops picked up on the main topics and invited the participants to actively participate.
Stefan Schaffner, co-initiator of the BAScloud, gave a keynote speech at the “Energy & Environment” workshop entitled: “Energetic optimisation of municipal properties” using the example of the city of Aschaffenburg.
The BASCloud of ProFM Facility & Project Management GmbH, developed on the basis of APIIDA API technology, creates a digital image of buildings in the private cloud on the basis of the existing data. In this way, properties can be connected to other services, such as energy monitoring, simply and easily with one click.
“The feedback from the participants was very positive,” says Schaffner happily. “Many municipalities are very progressive and recognise the BAScloud as a forward-looking opportunity for their properties.”
